Mads Græsbøll Christensen has worked extensively on active noise cancellation in the past few years. This work is concerned with ANC in headphones with a fixed ANC filter combined with an adptive filter for predicting speech.

This work is concerned with speech enhancement with deep learning methods. More specifically, a VAE-based approach is proposed wherein speech and noise representations are learned from training data.

A big challenge in sound zones is robustness to changes in the acoustic environment. In this work, we address this with statistical model of uncertainties and used convex optimization to find optimal filters for creating sound zones.

Speech modeling and analysis is in many applications, including communications and healthcare. This presentation is concerned with fast and robust fundamental frequency estimation.
